Tragic Monologue: The Sequel To The Three M's.

Remeber a few months back when I typed about the tragic monologue, and that the person I had to choose was a person whom I resembled, Well I have finally made a decision! Instead portraying Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Or Marvin Gaye, I chose to be Jimi Hendrix!


I was actually suppose to be Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, but there wasn't enough information on him for me to write up a monologue. But Jimi Hendrix is the guy that I can portray. Jimi Hendrix was a legendary African-American Guitarist who had made millions. He is tragic because of his many drug addictions to Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD; which is a drug that causes psychological effects. He was also a womanizer, and had a big feud with his manager.


There is a documentary, and a bioflix on Jimi Hendrix. And even if those don't work, I am able to research on this guy. I Am So Happy, I Found The Chosen One!

Movie Review/The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

Wow, Wow, Wow, Wasn't This A Movie Too Watch!

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is a fantasy-adventure film that


was directed by Michael Apted in 2010. The lead actors are Georgie Henley, who portrays a


the youngest sibling of the Pevensie kids, and Skandar Keynes, who portrays the third to fourth


child of the Pevensie kids. Later in the movie, the two end up entering into a magical world


called Narnia, where they have to help and save their friends from danger. All of the conflict that


happens in the film, are all connected to the book franchisement, The Voyage of the Dawn


Treader, writen by C.S. Lewis.

What makes The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage


of the Dawn Treader  the movie that you would want


to see is for the fact that the action are not seen by


the audience. Strangely, since we were not able to


see what had happened during the murders, it made


themovie more interesting to watch. It's basically


because they want to keep the movie a more of a


mystery to anticipate. Another thing that makes this


movie stand out is the the adventure. the adventure


in this movie was so amazing, it just made me want


to star in movie like this one. This movie also carried


a positive message; in the beginnig of this movie two siblings were not friends with their cousin,


until later on in the movie they later became friends because they came to realize that family is


forever and will need each other.

Overall, this is a great movie to watch! I rate this movie 3.75 stars!

Thoughts On Virtues!

My thoughts on virtues is, I wish there are more people who are shown virtuous! If you are


wondering what virtues are, virtues is the ability to give honor, and integrity. There are seven


virtues, and those seven are:




Chastity - Chasity is the ability to show courageousness and boldness to others, and to


yourself. It's when you are embracing honest decency and accomplishing purity of the mind to


your education and bettering yourself.

Abstinence -  Abstinence is the ability to have self-control, never-ending care for other people


and for oneself.

Liberality -  Kindness. The affection of giving or spending freely. being noble of your thoughts


and actions.

Diligence -  Diligence is the ability of showing enthusiasm and careful nature in one's actions


and work. Decisive work ethic. Monitoring another's  activities to prevent from laziness.

Patience- avoidance and endurance through balance. Solving conflicts peacefully, as opposed


to address to violence. The ability to forgive; to show mercy to sinners.

Kindness - Charity, compassion, friendship, and sympathy without prejudice and for its own


sake.

Humility- Honest behavior, caring of others, and the treating with respect. Giving credit when


people need it the most; not unfairly glorifying your own self.

Scripted Work Scene!

Today in class, we were presenting our scripted work scenes. I am stage manager in that class, and as stage manager I had to go around and ask everyone "What time do you want to present?" My peers were giving me so much fuss to where because of the position I gave them; nobody did not want to go first, even my partner and I did not want to go first, but since there was so much fussing about it, we had too. But it was quite funny because when ever my peers told me "your stage manager, you just pick who goes first, second etc." and then I pick what time they will be presenting, and then I told them, they get up set and say "No I am Not ready, that's not fair!" and created even more excuses to why they do not want to present that time. and since my partner and I had to go first and we did not want to it, it made us even more nervous.


We barely had anytime to rehearse which made us extremely nervous, which is why when we performed on game day, it was a bust. I was acting good during three quarters through the scene until I started to laugh. We were not full frontal, our scene did not look like how it was supposed to look; it was just a bust. I was just upset, but at the end of the day it wasn't worth getting upset of something t could of been done better. I Just wish I had much time to rehearse.

Media Presentation!

After we came back from the Ossington Trip, we had to come back with a story about something as I mentioned before. My story was about the diversity that the people in downtown toronto carried; whether it was by fashion, appearances etc. they all had different things about them.But after I finished my presentation, I felt like I did well, until my teacher gave me feedback on my presentation.


My teacher said that my presentation was not good at all; she said my personaility saved my presentation; she said I wasn't dressed appropiately for the presentation; she said that I did not create a good story to the point where my presentation gave me an R (a.k.a. an F). It was kind of a bummer for me because, like I said before, I felt like I did well. But then after, we were told that the extra ciriculm has changed. To get a level 4 we now have to meet and go beyond all the expectations of that work. This is going to be a rough time.
